Developed from a high fired Alumina and Silicone Dioxide body. Extremely porous, inert to most all solutions, possesses hard exterior and interior surfaces, and creamy white in color. Recommended for standard pressure differentials under 2 Bar (29.0 psi). Typical bubbling pressure: 32-42 psi. Effective pore size: 1.3 microns. Hydraulic conductivity: .000000693 cm/sec. Approximate porosity: 38% by vol. Flow through. All cups are "as cast".
