Measuring plant stress is a lot like taking blood pressure in humans, it gives vital clues on overall plant health. If your interests are in environmental plant health, botany and plant stability, it's important that you have some early morning and mid-day plant health data. You can't guess, you need data over these differing regimens that give important information on the overall plant health and stresses as measured by their plant water status. To get good data you need to get and test sample as fast as possible and this unit will provide you the fastest testing possible. It does this by offering easy cam lock features and sealing grommets that require only a couple of turns to seal the specimen. There is no better.
The Plant Water Status Console, Model 3005, provides a means of quickly and accurately measuring the plant water stress directly, according the method of Scholander. This model incorporates an integral compressed gas cylinder and connected pressure regulator for easy field operations. For standard units this pressure is 600 PSI (40 Bar) comes complete.
The model as shown has a 7" Vessel, G4 Specimen Holder, 40 bar Gauge and 8" legs and a number of differently sized and shaped sealing sleeves and grommets assure that the plant material of interest is safely sealed in the specimen holder, allowing measurements to be made.
