  • This illustration shows a 6 in (152.4 mm) long 2705 Pencil Sampling Tensiometer, other sizes designated by the “L” dimension on the drawing.
  • There are three possible ports one dedicated to providing sampling capabilities.
  • All ports can be outfitted to Luer-Lock adapters for quick attachments of a number of other devices and instruments.
  • Gauge is optional for use with our 5306 Monitor Transducer.

The 2705 Pencil Tensiometer is a multipurpose mini Sampler & Tensiometer combined into one.

  • The Pencil Sampling Tensiometer is used to build unique laboratory column studies.
  • Can be used in plant plots to measure matric suction and to pull pore water samples.
  • It can be used vertically or horizontally. 
  • Select 1/8 NPT or Luer Lock ports.
  • The unit can also connect to our 5306 PV or D Transducers.
